The three European teams, Chelsea, Manchester United and Leicester couldn’t have asked for a better situation this season. They are in a position they won’t want to leave. The three teams are well aware of the fact that if they win their respective matches on Sunday, it would mean they are entering the UEFA Champions League. This is their best chance to enter the prestige league against every odd.
However, it is seen that only two of three teams will be able to get a spot as two berths are already filled by the champions of this season Liverpool and the runner ups Manchester City.
Manchester United and Chelsea have the same points of 63 with which they are sitting on the third spot. Whereas, Leicester is just one point behind them in the race to qualify for the Champions League. Things are getting more interesting as Leicester is going to be the host for the match of Manchester United.
Each of the three teams is looking to get into the Champions League, which Leicester’s Manager, openly stated. He stated that his team wants to be in the Champions League and they would try to do that. Besides this, he also said that Manchester United is a big club which makes it a mandate for them to enter the league. Chelsea, on the other hand, is all set to face the Wolves.
Manchester United is going through a rough patch as they have their boss Ole Gunner Solskjaer is having difficulty in managing the club. If the club somehow fails to qualify, it is going to take a big hit in its costs. However, Frank Lampard is having a good time managing Chelsea without many problems.
It would be great to see the three clubs trying their best to get a spot in the prestigious league.
